Tundra TRD Pro packs a punch with a tuned dual exhaust that gives the 5.7-liter V8 a ferocious bark. TRD-tuned suspension, with tuned front springs and remote-reservoir TRD Pro Bilstein front and rear shocks to help you tame the tough trails. Add headlights with black sport bezels, a TRD Pro-stamped truck bed and a 1/4-in. aluminum skid plate, and this truck is ready to intimidate.
Assembled in Texas
A dedicated team proudly assembles every Tundra in San Antonio, Texas.* In fact, 1794 Edition takes its name from the year the ranch, on which the Toyota plant now sits, was founded. We are committed for the long haul to building the most capable full-size pickup truck on the planet. *Assembled in Texas with U.S. and globally sourced parts.
An interior that inspires with finely stitched seats, a driver-focused center stack and crisp gauges. We paid special attention to the details of nearly every interior surface so, no matter where you sit, you'll feel like it was made just for you.
Integrated Trailer Brake Controller
It doesn't matter if you're hauling your boat or a full load of lumber, when you come to a stop, you want your trailer to do the same. Lucky for you, an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller now comes standard on all 2016 Tundras equipped with the 5.7L V8. When connected to a compatible trailer, this system will allow you to adjust the amount of trailer braking based on the weight of the trailer. In other words, it's one more way Tundra gives you more control over what's going on behind you.
Active Traction Control
The added traction of 4WD is great—but with A-TRAC, it's even better. A-TRAC is a 4WD traction control system that uses the 4-channel ABS system to control power flow to the front and rear wheels, all without cutting throttle input, to help make traction no matter where you may be.
Three bed lengths
Whether you're hauling stuff to the job site, the campsite or just tackling those weekend projects, Tundra is ready to help you do it all. With three available bed lengths—a 5.5-ft. short bed (CrewMax), a 6.5-ft. standard bed (Double Cab) and an 8.1-ft. long bed (Regular Cab, Double Cab)—there's a Tundra built to fit your needs. And all three beds are 5.5-ft. wide and 22.2-in. deep, meaning Tundra's got the space you need to help you do more.
The available Entune Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite offers popular mobile applications and a wealth of valuable data services. All this can be accessed easily, and hands-free, with a Bluetooth enabled smartphone.
Star Safety System
Tundra comes standard with the Star Safety System, a suite of six advanced safety features that includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA) and Smart Stop Technology (SST).
